Jennifer Hudson Ends Her Ten Year Engagement And Gets a Protective Order

Jennifer Hudson and her beau David Otunga are calling it quits on their ten year relationship.

The two have been  engaged since 2008 and share one 8 year old son together.

On top of the couple splitting up, Hudson has also received an order of protection against her estranged fiance. She is accusing him of harassment and threatening behavior and claims he pushed her inside of their home.  She also is making claims he keeps a gun on the kitchen counter to taunt her.

She says in court documents,  “I believe that he left it out to taunt, intimidate and frighten me, which he absolutely accomplished,” she reportedly claims in the papers.

Otunga’s lawyer, Tracy M. Rizzo, released a statement to People

“Mr. Otunga has never abused or harassed Ms. Hudson or their son, and it is unfortunate, especially in today’s climate, that she would feel the need to make these false allegations against him. Mr. Otunga looks forward to his day in court and in being awarded the residential care of the parties’ only child,” a part of the statement read.

Otunga is also saying that Hudson is having an affair with her producer, but she says that allegation is totally false.

Sounds like this situation is getting messy really fast.

Fans have always wondered why the famed singer and her fiance  have been engaged for the past nine years and have never walked down the aisle or at least eloped.  Obviously, something has been terribly wrong in the relationship to be engaged that many years. And now we see why these two never made it official.
